It was just an appropriate option for one night in Coimbra with fantastic value for money. The view from my room was great, overlooking the plaza with the river nearby, which made the climb worthwhile. If you're a light sleeper, avoid rooms facing the plaza due to potential noise.

Could this be the unicorn we’re all looking for?
The location is unbeatable with stunning river views and a comfortable bed that guarantees rest after a long day of exploring.
Be prepared for several flights of stairs with no lift which could be a challenge, especially with heavy luggage.

The spacious double room offered a fantastic view of the river, making the climb worthwhile. Unfortunately, noise from nearby bus stops and street gatherings made it difficult to enjoy peaceful evenings. The staff's friendliness was a highlight, though communication could be challenging due to limited English proficiency. The location was excellent for tourism, close to cafes and attractions, enhancing the stay.

The location was fantastic for our family of six, with plenty of restaurants and attractions within walking distance. Our spacious family room made it easy to unwind after a long day of sightseeing. The staff was genuinely welcoming, making our stay even better.
My wife says that the bathroom could use a bit more space.
